St. Louis Moms Blog launched one year ago TODAY! And we can hardly believe it. It has been a wild ride, marked with sweat, tears, countless hours of work, and so much more! Sounds a lot like motherhood, right? 🙂 The best part has been getting to know the moms in our community who make up our contributor team, who have attended our events, and who’ve connected with us on social media. We love our city and the moms here!

This is where we started last May … isn’t our original contributor team lovely? These ladies blow us away!

And here’s where we are today … in one year, our team has grown from 22 to 38 moms! Wow!

  1. I could not be more excited to be part of this phenomenal group of women! For selfish reasons, seeing your call for blogging moms woke a passion that was laying dormant in me. I have always wanted to write, but was afraid to put myself out there. If I never tried and failed, then in my head I could still think of myself as a good writer. But the fact that i was familiar with your blog and admired the message at its core, I knew when i saw your open call that I had the two key components to be successful. I had the passion to write, and being a mom had consumed me for the past 16 years. It was a leap of faith but it felt so right when I landed with a “Congratulations and welcome!” from you!

Beyond that, I am constantly sparked by the content on this blog to be more, to do more, and to cut myself more slack. So thank you for creating this space for us moms to push and be pushed!
